I am an aspiring astrophysicist and climate scientist who recently graduated from Princeton University with my concentration in Astrophysics, and certificates in Applied and Computational Mathematics, and Russian Language and Culture.
As part of my undergraduate research at Princeton, I have completed an observational astronomy thesis using HSC data to analyse the alignment and orientation of brightest cluster galaxies with their clusters. For my two Junior Papers, the first investigated various methods of modelling the surface temperatures of exoplanets, while the second investigated chaos and resonance in the interstellar halo. More details on all of these projects may be found below in the research section.
My interests in astrophysics include cosmology, particularly in the area of dark matter and inflationary cosmology. Other interests are general relativity and black hole physics, AGN activity, exoplanet detection, and climate modelling. I am also deeply interested in public policy as it relates to environmental causes, and have worked on the implementation of carbon pricing in the state of New Jersey. Currently my main research projects include an investigation of the effect of US woodpellet production on deforestation of US Southeastern forests; cataloguing agricultural emissions in France and Germany; and creating image recognition software to counter wildlife trafficking.
